the description at Fatar doesn't mention polyphonic aftertouch and in fact says it has a "monophonic aftertouch strip. Comments/thoughts? Anyone played that Waldorf with the TP/8SK in it? But I hope the action feels more realistic, and not like each key has a large spring under it. I hope so too and if anyone knows of *any* controller using it, please post. I get that not everyone wants their NI S series controller to feel like a real piano, but I was very disappointed (I bought it during the period it was on sale for $100 U.S. Komplete Kontrol A series of USB-MIDI keyboard controllers feature clean, straight lines and a classy, black matte finish. So does everyone's NI Mkii instruments' keybed feel like it's just springs under the keys, and not really an effort to make the action feel remotely realistic? I tried the action on a Yamaha C5 just to be sure I wasn't imagining what a real piano feels like, and sure enough it took just the lightest touch to depress a key (and have a note sound.) ![]() I was quite surprised by this because I happily played an S61Mkii in July of 2022 with no issues. ![]() Features: Aftertouch, Pitch & Modulation, Touch Screen Control, 8 Pre-Mapped Knobs. I don't like it when people respond to a question with, "I don't know, but." But I'm going to do it because I'm very interested to see what instruments this (I assume new-ish at least) Fatar keybed with polyphonic aftertouch ends up in.
